About me...

Wesley J. Barnes was born and raised in Los Angeles CA, and it's now a resident of the big apple. His love for the arts was discovered in church. As an active member in his church, he was always involved rather it was singing in the choir from the young age of 6, playing the drums for Sunday Services, or playing characters in holiday plays. It was there he realized the magnitude in which the arts not only impacted his life, but also the lives of others.

Soon after Wesley began to seek opportunities outside of church to develop and hone his crafts. He began dance classes at Universal Dance Designs and was soon a member of the Kennedy Tap Company under the direction of the late Paul and Arlene Kennedy. With this company he had the honor of performing for countless events such as the PBS Holiday Spectacular, NAACP Image awards, Steve Harvey's Big Time, Michael Jacksons' 45th Birthday Party, and the presentation of lifetime achievement  award for Debbie Reynolds.

Wesley attended high school at LACHSA (Los Angeles County High School of the Arts, and college at Concordia University Irvine where he studied both Theatre, and Communication Studies. After graduating in 2015, Wesley moved to NYC to start his professional career. Since then he has been blessed to be a part of many regional productions, and tours. Wesley Looks forward to finding more ways to use his gifts and talents to give back and to be an agent for change in the community in which we all exist.
